Say g'day to one of the most ridiculously good-looking cities in the world. With its surf beaches, outrageously beautiful harbour and bronzed, laissez-fare locals, Sydney is Australia's show pony - a sexy temptress offering good times and fun in the sun. Aside from dazzling good looks, there's more to the city than the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and Bondi Beach. Over the past few years, Sydney has developed into a world-class, cosmopolitan hotspot with plenty of top-notch bars, restaurants and culture to amuse even the most finicky hedonist. Quaff cocktails at an achingly hip waterfront bar, sift through fashionable threads at boutiques in inner-city suburbs, or get salty, sandy and sun-kissed at one of 37 beaches.

Author Biography: Michelle is a Sydney-based writer and editor who ditched a career as a news journalist to write about the finer things in life; namely travel, food and booze. Her love of exploration has taken her across the globe, with stints living in Japan, London and most recently Dubai, where she edited Time Out's stable of travel magazines. Michelle returned home to Sydney in 2009 where freelance work for publications like the Sydney Morning Herald, the Boston Globe, CNN Traveller, the Daily Telegraph, GQ and Cosmopolitan, along with a regular newspaper column about her urban escapades helps to fund her travel and cocktail habit. Michelle loves gin & tonics and expertly made Negronis, the Omani desert, palm trees, bossa nova, and summer days absorbing sun, salt and sand at Sydney beaches. What makes her a hedonist? My mantra. One negroni, two negroni, three negroni, floor.A"
